Introduction:
GTJ Connector is an add-on built on top of GSuite products, it's available for Gmail and Drive. GTJ improves your Jira to Google Apps integration, especially Gmail and Drive.
The main feature related to Drive is that GTJ Connector allows you to upload files as attachments to Jira tickets directly from your Drive app.
User Guide:
1. Installation
- Go to Google Workspace Marketplace: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace
- Search for GTJ Jira Connector app
- Click install
- Go to your Drive app, and simply on the right bar, you can find GTJ Connector.
2. Connect To Jira
- Authorize access
Click "Authorize access"
Then after choosing your Google account, click on "Allow"
- Connect to Jira,
Click first on "Connect to Jira", then choose your desired site, and finally click on "Accept", and you'll be redirected to the home page
3. How to steps
- Open GTJ Connector addon from your Drive
- Select your file(s) to upload
- Search for the desired Jira ticket to attach files to it
- Choose your Jira ticket
- Click on Attach to upload your file(s)
- Finally you files are uploaded successfully, you can click on the ticket key link to check the update
