You can edit your Jira issues directly from your Gmail or Google Calendar.

Go to GTJ the Jira Extension in Chrome extension and select Edit from e-mail or Edit from Calendar

Search and select your desired Jira issue

  • Select an e-mail
  • Open Jira Extension in Chrome
  • Select → open GTJ Chrome Extension → select 'Edit from e-mail'

         


  • Search, and select your issue, then click nextNext

By editing your issue you can:

  • Edit the 'summary'Summary, the 'description', 'assignee', 'labels', also you can include the 'email attachments', 'inline images', or include the ' Description, Assignee, Labels
  • Include Email attachments, Include inline images, or Include the email as attachmentemail as attachment'
  • All you need to do is to edit the fields you want and select from the checkboxes that include the options you'd like to include

         


  • You can also ' edit the reporter'Reporter, 'upload Upload files', 'add Add a flag', 'environment', 'add a comment',  'Link this issue', and 'log work' Environment, Add a comment
  • Once done, click on 'the Update' button button

         

  • You can 'can Link this issue',and 'log work', by clicking on link or log work buttonLog work

         

         

  • You have successfully edited your issue successfully!

  • Go to your Google Calendar, select
  • Select an event and click on it to edit it

         


  •  Open Jira Extension in Chrome
  • Select Open GTJ Chrome Extension → select 'Edit from Calendar'

         


  • Search, and select your issue, then click next Next

By editing your issue, you can:

  • Edit the 'summary'Summary, the 'description', 'assignee', 'labels', 'reporter', and 'upload files'Description, Assignee, Labels,Reporter, and Upload files

         


  • You can also 'add Add a flag', 'environment', 'add Environment, Add a comment',  'Link this issue',and 'log work'To 'Link this issue', and 'log work', just click on 'link' or 'log work' button Log work
  • Once done, click on 'the Update' button button

         

         

  • You have successfully edited your issue!
