Basic Login

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Basic label
  2. Enter your site URL 
    1. You can copy/paste the URL displayed in your browser for example in our case it is https://css.infosysta.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa.
    2. You can enter your base URL as jira.exmple.com or https://jira.exmple.com.
    3. Your site might contain a context path, so you need to enter it as jira.exmple.com/jira or https://jira.exmple.com/jira.
    4. If your instance is on the Atlassian Cloud, you can enter the URL as example.atlassian.net.
  3. Click on validate URL Login
  4. Once it's validated, the you'll navigated to enter your username and password field will appear.
  5. Enter your username and password

With regards to the changes Atlassian made regarding the login process to support GDPR technology, you can now log in through Cloud instances that comply with the new changes.

  1. Enter your Cloud instance base URL
  2. Click the validate URL Login button
  3. A pop-up will appear asking you to generate an API token
  4. Click on the Generate a token button (or Cancel if you already have one) pasted it directly into the token field).
  5. Select the browser you want
  6. It will ask you to login log in with your Atlassian credentials
  7. When you log in, you'll be redirected to the Atlassian token manager
  8. Click Create an API token
  9. Choose a name for it, then copy it (it's better to save this token inside a note application since you'll need it later in case you're logged out and need to log in again)
  10. Return to the app
  11. Paste the API token inside the field asking for it
  12. Enter your email and you're done!

SSO Login

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on SSO label
  2. The username and password fields will disappear
  3. Copy the link you usually use to log in to your instance from the web browser
  4. Paste it in the URL field
  5. Click Log inon SSO | Login using Web button
  6. You'll be redirected to your instance to login (This process may take a few minutes for your site to load)

SSO is implemented to support single-sign-on login such as ADFS, OKTA, OneLogin.

If you're still not able to loginlog in after these steps, kindly click on *on Not able to login!, click to send log file*?,  from Mobile for Jira's login screen. Please make sure that there is a file attached to be able to troubleshoot.
