Enhance customer support experiences with the latest WhatsApp Connector for Jira update, featuring customizable WhatsApp bot messages for convenient Jira Service Management interactions.

The new feature lets you modify WhatsApp bot messages to better connect with customers.

WhatsApp Bot Custom Messages:

In this feature, the user will be able to modify the messages used by the Bot and set them to his convenience to enhance the customer's experience, whether by adding more detail to the corresponding message, or even change the language of the messages used.

A new page was added to the "Edit Configuration Panel" named "Bot messages" where the user can access this feature and change his messages. And of course, each project has his own bot messages where the agent can set the messages in each project as he pleases.

Below is an image showing the "Bot messages" section in the saved configuration page.

After the user accesses this section, he will be presented with text fields where each text fields represents a message used by the bot that the agent can modify. Below is an image representing this section.

As seen in the above image, the fields with their corresponding titles and description. Keywords in red are also visible in the descriptions, where each text field has certain keywords that have to be used in the text field box since they are crucial to the text field's message. And in case the user does not include the corresponding keyword, the text field will alert the user.

The user also, will not be able of updating his messages in case a text field is missing a keyword. Below is a representation of this case.

After updating the messages, the user can scroll down and click on the update button where the messages will be updated and saved and will now be used by the bot for all customers.

Below are representations of an agent modifying his messages to a new language and how they would be shown in WhatsApp after a customer tries to connect.



Reset Feature

An agent can always scroll down in the "Bot messages" section and click on the reset button to reset the messages to their default values.


Bug Fixing

Several bugs were fixed in WCJ. A bug in team managed projects was found in the "Link WhatsApp account" page where the steps were being allocated to different titles when the agent was using a paid number. This bug was confronted and fixed. Another bug was found in the WhatsApp Bot messages in WhatsApp, where the flow in a certain case was going in a wrong direction and giving out a different message. This bug was also taken care of, along with other minor bugs.
