What does it mean?

A resolution status is a way to notify the addon to close the channel between a customer and a Jira ticket, meaning when the ticket's resolution status matches the one selected in the config page new messages from the same customer won't be added as comments rather will create a new ticket → new flow.

Example

         1. In the project Config I've selected resolved as my resolution status.

           

        2. I have an open ticket in my Jira project and I'm communicating with a customer all his messages will be added as comments.

           

        3.  when I change the resolution status to Resolved, new messages from the customer will create a new ticket in my Jira project
