Microsoft Outlook for Jira v.3.2.0 is out with big changes made to how you can view related issues. It also comes with a special treat for Jira users who speak Arabic!

New Features

Arabic Language support

For all Arabic language users, we now have great news! We now support Arabic as a language, as well as a right to left view to make it easier for Arabic Jira users. 

View Related Issues by Sender

Now onto the cool stuff, the 'View Related Issues' screen has two tabs instead of the previous one.

Using the Sender tab, users can now view all issues that have been created from emails with the same sender.

View Related Issues by Email

This second addition to this screen is even more elaborate, in which users can view related issues by email.

Issues related by email should satisfy one of the below conditions:

  • Previously created issues from emails belonging to the same thread
  • Previously added an email to an existing issue
  • Link to a Jira issue or issue key in subject or the body
