Mobile for Jira follows your instance notification schemes to send push notifications to your user. Learn what configurations you need to have in place to use push notifications in Mobile for Jira. 

Keep in mind that:

  1. Mobile for Jira requires Jira Core version 7.0.0 and above for the Notification feature to work.
  2. Mobile for Jira Add-on is required to be installed for Notification feature to work, check this link to install the Add-on.
  3. You can install Mobile for Jira from the corresponding stores Play Store and App Store.


In order to use push notifications, you'll have to follow these three steps:

1. Ensure these configurations are in place from Mobile for Jira's add-on side

2. Ensure these configurations are in place from Mobile for Jira's mobile app side

3. Ensure these configurations are in place to send push notifications


If the feature still doesn't work

Create a support ticket through our portal https://css.infosysta.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/14/group/40, and do the following:

  1. Find the Mobile for Jira add-on logs
    (They can be found on the server where the Jira instance is installed under the same log directory of Jira [Example: C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\log])
  2. Share logs with us by clicking on Settings and select Contact Support.
