Enter the email that you usually use to access the Jira Cloud Instance

In case you already have an API Token you can use it and click on Login, if not generate one by clicking on Generate Token

  1. Once you click on Generate Token you'll be taken to Manage Tokens page
  2. Click on the Create API Token button
  3. Give a name to that token (ex: DesktopAppForJira) and click on Create
  4. Copy the Token and save it in a place to be used later, and then paste it in the Token field in the Desktop App for Jira
  5. Click on Login

In case you already have an PAT (Personal Access Token) Token you can use it and click on Login, if not generate one by clicking on Generate Token

  • Once you click on Generate Token you'll be taken to Personal  Access Token page

  • Click on the Create Token button

  • Give a name to that token (ex: DesktopAppForJira), disable Automatic expiry and click on Create

If you're still not able to login after these steps, kindly click on *Not able to login!, click to send log file*  from Desktop App for Jira login screen, and please make sure that there is a file attached to be able to troubleshoot.
