Feature Overview
1- Searching for an issue
We support two search types, quick search and advanced search:
- Quick search:
- You can quickly search for an issue by text. All the issues that contains this text will be returned in the dropdown
- Advanced search
- Using advanced search, you can make use of various issue parameters to find your issue:
- Projects:
- All issues inside the selected project will be returned
- Issue type:
- All issues with the selected issue type will be returned
- Status
- All issues with the selected status will be returned
- Text
- All issues containing the selected text will be returned

2- Search result
After choosing your parameters, the search will automatically return a list of issues, with the following information:
- Assignee
- Priority
- Issue type
- Status
- Summary
- Issue ID

3- Selecting an issue
You can now select an issue from the list in one of two ways:
- By selecting the issue then clicking on the button "Add Selected issue"
- Or by double clicking on the issue
4- Add to issue
After selecting an issue, you will be redirected back to the "Add to Issue" screen. You can now add a comment or upload an attachment to the issue
5- Quick settings
From the "Add to Issue" screen, you can choose which content from the email to include in the issue description by toggling the settings switches:
- Include e-mail as attachment
- Include Inline images
- Include email content

Quick steps to search for an issue
Step # | Action |

1 | Go to "Add to Issue" screen |
2 | For a quick search, type your search text in the "issue" field. You can now continue from step # |
3 | For advanced search, click on the "Advanced search" link. You will be redirected to the "Advanced Search" screen. |
4 | From the "Advanced Search screen", select your search parameters. As you select, the list will be returned automatically |
5 | Double click on an issue. You will be redirected to the "Add to Issue" screen |
