Learn how to link a Twitter X account to a Jira service desk project.

1. Navigate to the project settings

2. On the left side menu of the project settings, click on Link Twitter X Account

3. Click on Sign In with TwitterX

4. A new tab will appear to Authorize Twitter X Connector for Jira to access your account


5. Once authorized, return to Jira and enter the authorization code


6. Select a request type for when a message comes in

7. Choose your closure status.

Twitter connector X Connector will use the status to define whether to add new tweets/messages as comments to the existing tickets or create a new ticket

Twitter X Connector for Jira creates a user account named Twitter X, this account will be used by the app to create new requests. Make sure not to delete it.

  2. Scroll to the Link Twitter X Account section 
  3. Enter your Application Key click here for more info
  4. Enter your Application Secret Token click here for more info
  5. Click Next
  6. Click on Login with TwitterX

  8.  Once authorized, return to Jira and enter the authorization code
