Learn how to link a X account to a Jira service desk project.

1. Navigate to the project settings

2. On the left side menu of the project settings, click on Link X Account

3. Click on Sign In with X

4. A new tab will appear to Authorize X Connector for Jira to access your account


5. Once authorized, return to Jira and enter the authorization code


6. Select a request type for when a message comes in

7. Choose your closure status.

X Connector will use the status to define whether to add new tweets/messages as comments to the existing tickets or create a new ticket

X Connector for Jira creates a user account named X, this account will be used by the app to create new requests. Make sure not to delete it.

  3. Enter your Application Key click here for more info
  4. Enter your Application Secret Token click here for more info
  5. Click Next
  6. Click on Login with X
