For Office Add-in Users
After installing OTJ Jira for Outlook:
- Open Outlook
- Click on the “JIRA” icon displayed in the top right menu
- Click on “Setup”
- A “JIRA Credentials” window will appear
- Fill the required fields:
After installing Outlook To JIRA:
1.1 Authentication
- Go to Home Tab.
- Click on
Fill the required fields:
- OTJ Select
- Jira Login page will open
- Select a Profile, enter Jira server URL.
- Click Sign In.
- If user has created an application link. OAuth 1.0 Authentication Page open. (How to create application Link).
- If user hasn't created an application link, he/she must enter the username and password.
- Once all fields are filled with the right information, click on “Save”
- A “Connection Successful” message should appear (only if the information provided is correct).
- Click on "OK"

After Adding OTJ Jira for Outlook Add-in:
The startup page section will appear
- JIRA URL: Link to access your JIRA instance
- Jira server users can login through username and password
- Jira Cloud users can login through Username or E-mail and password.
Note: Jira Cloud users must authenticate with OAuth 1.0. only.
