Question: What do I do if I am having connectivity issues while using Mobile for Jira?

In the case of connectivity issues when accessing the app, you will need to:

  • Check if your mobile phone needs any Proxy or VPN configuration.
  • Check if you can access your Jira Instance from your mobile browser.


To do that, you should:

  1. Check if the URL you are trying to access is accessible through the web
  2. You are logging in using your username and not an email.
    You can get your username through the following steps:
    1. Log in to your Jira Instance from the web
    2. Click on your avatar in the top right
    3. Select Profile
    4. Search for 'Username' to find your exact username to be used in Mobile for Jira
  3. If your password contains any special characters, remove them and try again
  4. Make sure Mobile for Jira is installed from the Manage add-on side
