We are excited to announce the latest version of Jira Extension in Chrome party popper  

This release brings several new features and improvements to enhance your experience and streamline your workflow. Additionally, we've squashed some pesky bugs to ensure a smoother operation.

What's New?

1. Multi-Account Support

  • Switching between Multiple Accounts is now supported in GTJ! Seamlessly switch between different accounts within the application.
  • Juggling multiple projects and accounts just got easier! This feature allows you to manage different projects or clients more efficiently without the need to log in and out.

2. GTJ Extension Can Act as a Desktop App!

  • GTJ Shortcut Now Enabled for Desktops,
  • Accessing GTJ has never been easier. With the new desktop shortcut feature, you can launch the GTJ application quickly and conveniently right from your desktop.

  • This enhancement transforms the GTJ extension into a fully functional desktop app, streamlining your workflow and improving accessibility.

3. Dark Theme Support

  • Exciting News for Dark Mode Enthusiasts!

  • Dive into the dark side with our new dark theme option. Go easy on your eyes and create a more visually appealing work environment.
  • Switch to the dark theme easily from GTJ screens to enhance your user experience.

4. Pasting Images in Editors

  • We've added the ability to paste images directly into the editors like description and comment fields.
  • This enhancement makes it easier to include visual content in your tickets and documentation, improving communication and clarity.

5. Link Emails to Tickets

  • Link Emails to a Ticket: No more wasting time, you can now link emails directly to tickets.
  • This feature enables better tracking of communication and ensures all relevant information is easily accessible from the ticket.

6. Support New Field: Restrict to

  • Support "Restrict to" Dropdown: GTJ now includes a 'Restrict to' field, allowing you to control access permissions directly from the main interface. Easily manage who can view or edit specific items.

7. Manage Default Request Type

  • Manage Default Request Type from Settings: You can now set and manage your default request type directly from the settings menu simplifying the process of submitting new requests.

8. Enhanced Usability of GTJ 

  • Right-Click Anywhere to Use GTJ Features
  • We've made it easier to access GTJ features by enabling right-click functionality anywhere within your browser, so you can quickly perform actions.
  • Also, you can reach the GTJ Chrome Extension by right-clicking on any image or selecting any text.
  • GTJ has a fresh new look! smiling face with sunglasses  As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your experience, we have updated our logo to a new design that reflects our commitment to quality and innovation.

10. New Interaction Opportunities

  • A simple pop-up was added to allow you to provide valuable feedback easily

11. Enhanced Actions List

  • We've added a 'Find Issues' option to the list of available actions. Quickly search for and identify issues within your projects, improving workflow efficiency.

12. Jira Add-on Licence Issue Text Improvement

  • Shine with a Clearer Experience: We have refined the text related to Jira add-on license issues for better clarity and user understanding. This improvement helps users resolve license issues more effectively.

  • Say goodbye to confusing license issues! We've completely revamped how we handle license information.
  • New, clear message: No more cryptic errors! Our friendly cards explain any license issues you might encounter, offering solutions in a snap.
  • Smoother sailing, better understanding: Enjoy a hassle-free experience and stay informed about your license status with clarity.

13. Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • We've made several under-the-hood improvements and fixed various bugs to enhance the overall stability and performance of GTJ.
