Learn how to link a Twitter account to a Jira service desk project.

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the project settings

2. On the left side menu of the project settings, click on Link Twitter Account

3. Click on Sign In with Twitter

4. A new tab will appear to Authorize Twitter Connector for Jira to access your account


5. Once authorized, return to Jira and enter the authorization code


6. Select a request type for when a message comes in

7. Choose your closure status.


Twitter connector will use the status to define whether to add new tweets/messages as comments to the existing tickets or create a new ticket

Twitter Connector for Jira creates a user account named Twitter, this account will be used by the app to create new requests. Make sure not to delete it.
