Overview

You have successfully set-up Microsoft Outlook for Jira on Outlook, and your license is valid. In this guide, you will learn how to connect to your Jira instance and login into the app.

Quick Steps

The login steps will differ for the different hosting types: Cloud and Server.

Login to your Cloud instance

    • Enter your Jira URL 

    • Enter your Email Address
    • Click Continue
    • Click on Generate API Token
    • Paste your generated token to API Token field

1.Authentication - OAuth1.0

    • Enter your Jira URL 
    • Click on Continue

    • Enter your Username and Password
    • Click Log In

    • Once you're redirected to this screen: click on Allow to be able to log in using OAuth 1.0

    • You have successfully linked Microsoft Outlook for Jira to Jira  


2. Basic Login

    • Enter your Jira URL
    • Click on Continue

    • Once you're redirected to this screen: click on Deny to be able to log in using basic login

    • Close the tab
    • Enter your Username and Password
    • Click Continue to log in
