Learn how any comment you leave on a Jira ticket automatically turns into a Telegram message using Telegram to Jira Connector.

This is the sequence of events that happens when an agent leaves a comment on a Jira ticket connected to a Telegram message that hasn't been resolved.

A Telegram message comes in from a customer through this sequence.

1. An agent will write a new public comment on Jira ticket connected to a Telegram message.

2. The comment will then be converted into a Telegram message and appear like this to the customer.

If the agent replies to the comment, then the comment must match the Telegram predefined template message.

If the comment is not forwarded for any reason, the add-on will update the Jira comment text body with a Telegram error message. This could happen if the Jira attachment was too big for Telegram to handle.

In case of an error, the comment body will be edited with:

Your comment not forwarded to your customer, due to Telegram Error and is set to be internal comment : Attachment is too big
